Subject: what can I do for more off the line? IP: Logged
Message: okay, here is what I have ---> Jet stage 2, fms 19#injectors, moved IAT sensor, robert shaw 180* thermostat, K&N cold air intake, V8 Tb, JBA headers, High flow cat, 1 in Dual out Delta 50 flowmaster exhaust, 3.55 automatic. Once I hit 3000 rpm's in first gear there is no stopping this truck, but until then there is no off the line. What can I do to feel the power as soon as I mash the gas? It feels like the truck is building its way up and then suddenly at 3000 rpms i get sucked back into the seat. I would like there to be a reason to get traction bars, if you know what i mean. I really do not want to run nitrous, and Turbos and superchargers are a bit out of my $$ range at this point in time. Is this the stair step effect that i have heard about? How can i rid myself of this burden? What should i do next?

Message: You might want to swap in a lower gear like 3.73 or 4.10 or something. I'm moo not familiar with the ratios for the dodge rears yet, i came from a camaro.

Message: GEARS!!!
Go with 4.11 or something in that area...will totally help low end power, but you do give up some top-end speed, say 10-15mph off your top speed, but you'll get there a hell of a lot faster!

Message: I agree with the 3.92's. check around for those. Also look at the TPS voltage adjustment. I haven't tried this yet but i've heard people say it works.
