Message: Where did you get all your parts. I assume the switches and resistors can be found at radio shack. Also, does anyone know how the IAT works? I assume it's just a theresistor. Does resistance increase with temp like normal? What are the ranges and calibration points?

Message: You can buy all the parts from radio shack
a 1k ohm resistor #271-1321 5 pck
a 50k pot #271-1716
a rocker switch #275-691
a project box #270-1801
No they do not change with heat they stay where
you put them
Here is a table you can use to calibrate the
adjustor
http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/v6/6150.html
telling the computer there is colder air will
advance the timing and dump more fuel

Message: Do you happen to know if I can get both male and female plugs that match those on the IAT, so I can avoid cutting and splicing as well?

Message: I believe the IAT adjustor kits are available from www.nextlevelracing.com. You can get a "Stage 1" or "Stage 2" kit. A bit spendie, but you just cut the IAT sensor wire, crimp the supplied connectors, plug it in and drive away...

will give you the same effect.

Message: You can try Hurricane-Horsepower.com
if you just want one you don't have to build.
If you put in the adjustable versions it will track temperature with the offset selected.

Message: Larry,
You say that the IAT relocate and crank sensor mod do the same. Will it hurt, help or waste time to do both?
Thanks

Message: I have a 1996 4x4 dakota with a 3.9 automatic. The truck seems to work ok, but it is hard to start when it is cold. It starts ok when its warmed up. I replaced the plug wires, plugs, distributor cap, rotor button and replaced the IAC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
