about what the 1/4 times are and the HP on the thing.

about $7000 not installed and then you have to get a tranny that is going to hook up. most likly one from the viper also. so play the lottery.

I was looking into dropping the Viper V-10 into my Indy Ram a few years ago. I got a price of $14K for a new Viper crate motor. Didn't even bother looking into the tranny which is probably just as expensive. Your best bet is to look for a scrapped Viper and bid your way for the parts if they are still there. Just as a side note, I looked into buying a salvaged Viper that needed a new hood (plus other things :) ) and the hood alone on that car was quoted @ $14K 8O

Dan, if you can get a Viper engine for $7000 I'll take 20 of them. That is such a great deal that not even Mopar sells them to the dealers for that cheap.

USA them viper engines in a crate are very expensive I sold one outa my yard for $8000 US and the guy that I sold it to said I saved him over 5000 on a new one.

I have a mopar book full of wedge and hemi crate motors, even has the Viper 10 in it. Runs from 7 to 8 thousand... So Bill if you plan on buying 20 of them send one to me please :).

Whow whow... Never mind... I checked... it was around 12 thousand dollars... My mistake, I apologize. :^\
Although I did see a 426 hemi crate i there with 465 horse that only cost around 9,900 (only) :P

This might be the wrong forum to ask this on but since were sort of on the topic... Are the 360 crate motors fuel injected? I know the 385 horse 360 doesnt have an ac pully so thats out of the question...

I am planning on building a 600 HP 408 for my dodge dak. It is a 1994, any sugestions on a rear end for it or should I go with a ford 9 inch. Will be costing me about 6K for the build or if any one has other options let me know.

It the engine doesn't have the a/c pulley, take the one off your old engine and install it on the new one.
