Subject: Centerforce Stage II IP: Logged
Message: With just over 105,000 miles and a big road trip towing a boat 900 miles each way, I decided to have a new clutch thrown in. I purchased the Centerforce Stage II press plate/ disc and T.O. bearing from www.truckperformance.com for $251. with free shipping. Labor including servicing the tranny and transfer case ran $405.00 at local trans shop. I used to hear alot driveline noise coming from under the vehicle when starting from stop-signs, but after the new clutch was in, it all went away. The gears enguage alot better and the truck pulls alot harder, too. If anyone has to get a clutch done, go with the Centerforce Stage II. The Stage III is overkill unless your running 350-400hp.
