 Subject: SH*T!!! SOMEONE HELP

I was putting in my wires and plugs todat and took off the airhat thingy and noticed that there was oil or somekind of residue in my TB, Is this normal?? Like if you run your fingers over it it will rub off. It looks like oil but i'm not sure, its wet and dark. Please someone give me some feedback!!

Clean that sh*t take off the TB as speedtweaks says to and spray it with cleaner and look down into your intake to see if their is any crap down their but it sounds like a dirty throttle body to me

Thanks guys, i dont know everything about my truck, i'll be the first to tell you. But when i see odd things like that, and my dad/shop mechanic doesnt know that much about it, i start to worry, he thought that it was oil somehow getting into the TB. Now i'll have to convince him that it isnt oil. Its much harder when your mechanic is also your dad. :/

There will always be a very thin oil coating in the TB bores and intake manifold. This is cause by the PCV doing it's job (Normal).

I hate to be the barer of bad news but I had a car come into my school for a tune up. It ran fine but there was this weard slug that was a mixture between oil and cooland. The piston went through the water jacket. There was a slug in the throttle body that went down to the airfilter and the entire passangerside bank was flooded.
