Subject: which port do i plug my jet chip into??? IP: Logged
Message: I just purchased a jet stage 2 chip from a guy on ebay for $100.00. He had it on his truck for 6 months before he traded it in. He sent the chip to me in the box without directions, and i have no clue which of the 3 ports to plug into. I dont want to fry my computer, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks......

Message: Here's what mine says...
4. 1996 and up models: There are 3 color coded connectors (black, white, & Grey) remove the BLACK connector. NOTE: Some applications will require the removal of a dust cover, this will not reinstall without modification.
It also says you need to remove the PCM from the fender, but I didn't. Just unhooked the clip, stuck the Jet on, and reinstalled the clip. The JET goes in-line. :0)
