 Subject: Exhaust Problems

I want to get some power out of my truck by putting a new exhaust on it. But my local "exhaust man" said even if i put dualpipes and a muffler on it, i wouldnt feel a differance. Is he just geting old or what?? I really hate the sound of the stock exhaust.

Dude go with the exhaust if you need it. Get the gibson cat back or the flowmaster (if they make a cat back for your truck. (they don't make a cat back for my 2002 dak....yet) good luck

Well, i'v been told my some pretty good guys that i should just go with the muffler, maybe a flowmaster 70 or something. I dont want to replace perfictly good pipe.

dont go w/ the 70 series its way too quiet. I went with the 50 series and it almost sounds like a gt stang. i wish i got the 40 series though. hopw this helped
u will feel a difference.

Dude we have deciant sized pipe just get a 50 series flowmaster and do a muffler swap.

Okay, sounds good, your pipes are 2-1/2" right? Or is it 2-1/4? Ebay usually has nice flowmasters for good prices, new in box and all. What should i pay for one? any ideas

I think brand new from a regular store they are around 70 something bux. So figure on ebay it may be a bit cheaper.
