well.... if you knew anything about these motors it would be in the same place as his V8.... the 3.9 is the same engine as kota's 5.2 except two cylinders shy.

Even if you knoe absoultly nothing about yor dak LOOK IN THE OWNERS MANUAL. Or go by the machanics rule of thumb, change it every 3 minths or 3000 miles. If you wail to much longer than say good bye to your gas millage and possabley your engine if have high miles.
