Message: It depends on your budget, future modification plans, and what type of performance level you're looking for.
Stock V8 TB = Noticeable gains over the factory V6 thrtottle body but still has a slight stumble due to the "torque step" that Dodge engineered into the bore design
Fastman V6 TB = Same as stock V8 TB but without the stumble and a much more crisp throttle response.
Flometrics 48mm TB = For those who want billet and will be running nitrous and/or turbo/supercharger..this is the one for you.
All of them will give you a very nice gain in performance and I can't choose any of them over the other (with the exception of the stock V8 TB - Budget oriented modification).
And then....there will be one more contender in the ring: APS Precision Throttle Bodies. They use a totally different approach on the blades and shaft along with a few other options that are readily available (custom laser-etching and/or powder-coating). The first fgew proto-types are on their way to us and we will start testing sometime next week.

Message: Well, i know if i get one quick just because i dont have the money to get a good one i'll kick my self later, SO i guess i'll just save up money, see how you like the new APS TB's and see what yuor thoughts are on them. Then i'll just get the one with the best rating, cause i eventually want to get a NX system and Turbo. Thanks for the responce. And i'll keep looking on your page for the new TB's ;)

Message: hey bernd, any idea on hp gains for NA V6s for each TB? is flowmetrics any better w/o n2o or super/turbo then the other two. wondering because i want turbo, but i doubt i can afford it so if i get the flowmetrics, is it a complete waste of money if i dont force induction at some point???

Message: You can count on 8-10HP on the average from any of them. It really depends on existing modifications and the tune of the engine (actual tune-up parts, PCM program, sensors, etc.).
We're thinking about including the throttle body on the V6 and V8 turbo systems but need to figure all the costs out first.

Message: OK. I know I'm a pain in the ass, but what better do you have to do besides answer my questions...lol.
roughly how much hp would I gain if I switched my intake system from airaid and stock TB to K&N w/ flowmetrics or fastman?? any point in changing my intake?? supposedly K&N adds way more power then airaid(like 4-6 more hp and 15 more lb ft of torque) is it worth the money to switch?? assuming i can sell my airaid on e-bay...

Message: Depending on the V6 or V8, your horsepower could gain anywhere to 5 to 15, depending on the intake style and size.
