My stock rotor was pretty well burned out at 24,000 miles after towing a loaded trailer from Michigan to Florida during my move. I stuck a Borg&Warner Cap/Rotor kit on it, cost about $13 plus shipping from Speedtweaks.com

I had that problem went through 4 caps and rotors in about a month and come to find out that the distributor was bad and it wiped out the distributor drive gear as well. To find a new Distributor drive gear is simple as any old 273-360 will work , then again you might be lucky and your gear might be fine try replacing the dist.
