Subject: no power what so ever IP: Logged
Message: well i've come to the conclusion that my dakota has no low end, no top end, and no midrange power. so i've ordered jba headers, v-8 tb, a powertrax, and im debating on the transgo shift kit. any ideas on what i'll expect from the headers, tb, and powertrax?

Message: dude,
the JBA's and the TB is a great idea. if your not afraid of getting rid of your cat and running it straight pipe AND slapping on a Flowmaster muffler would do very noticeable difference. have you installed a cold air intake brew also? they all worked for me. in fact, try and install them one by one and feel the difference. just my 2 cents.

Message: If you remove the cat and put a flowmaster on you will loose low end power. Trust me I did this, I can barely power brake now. Maybe a high-flow cat and flowmaster, but I wouldn't recomend removing the cat.

Message: i removed my cat and noticed a littledrop in low end, but a serious gain at around 3700 to redline, i wouldnt recommend removing the cat on vehicles 96 and up because they have OBD 2 codes which when you remove the cat will screw everything up
