Own a 1989 Dodge Dakota truck - V6, 3.9 Liter, SL - 8ft. bed. Manual states that this vehicle is not suitable for a slin-in truck camper. Can anyone explain why??? Thanks

Well before I got it, my grandfather had a camper in the bed and a bass boat behind my 92. How much hp does a 89 have?
