I've got a 2001 Reg Cab V6 2wd, will the Gibson dual rear exhaust work with my truck? On speedtweaks.net it looks like it will on the Gibson website it looks like it wont anyone know?

I'd be interested in knowing this for sure, too. I'm new to Dakotas; I've only had my 2002 V6 regular cab for a week. I don't think I'll do any mods for awhile, but I'm interested in what'll work and what won't. I'd assume that the Gibson dual rear exit exhaust won't work on our trucks, since their website didn't even list a part # for it. I like this style the best, but I looked under my truck, and it seemed like the clearance between the left leaf spring and the spare tire was awful close...I didn't check the clearance in front of the tire. I'm leaning towards Gibson's dual sport exhaust and a set of JBA headers when the time is right.

I recently installed the Gibson single cat back on my '98 V6. Everything fit to a T, so my bet based on previous experience with Gibson, is if your truck is not heavily modified, and they make a kit for it, you will have no fitup problems at all.

I've got this set up on my 2000 V6. Mine was
for a 1999 and it needed a little modification.
I'ld call Gibson and ask them. Its a great
exhaust, looks and sounds good.
