Message: I just put a 40 series on my 96 Dak. It didn't fit exactly but it only to a few minutes to make it work. I haven't driven it yet to see if there is a HP increase but it sounds awesome. It is incredibly deep sounding.

Message: I have a dynomax 2.5 in out muffler on my 96 3.9. It is not an overpowering sound, but deos sound nice. Depends what you are going for. I like especially for the $35 cad I paid at an autoshow. Flowmaster is way more here in canada almost $200. Good perforamnce with the dynomax coupled with a cold air intake. Works for me

Message: i also have a? about exhaust. my 99 v-6 will not get loud even with no muffler! it has allways sounded like a big rush of airno matter what type of muffler i use(flowmaster, dynomax racemag) and the race mag is basicly an over glorifide glasspack. i have gotten fed up with spending money on mufflers only to hear it sound the same as it did stock. please help me im to young not to be loud(30 isnt to young is it?)

Message: yes i let them break in each one has been on for no less than 4 months i just dont understand it anymore im an x mechanic and have built motors to that use cats and none of them have ever been this difficult to make loud. the racemag by dynomax was on an importfor about a year and it would pull about a 150 on a db meter and now it wont get over a 130 on my truck i dont understand this at all. the only thing left to try is to get rid of the cat and see if that does it. if not im selling the damn thing.
