i just bought a super turbo muffler off ebay brand new for 25 bucks, now all i need is to get a turndown tip. so anyone know where the cheapest place to get a turndown tip is and how much they usually run for? also how far from the muffler should i put the tip?

I have a 3 1/2" turndown welded directly onto the outlet of my muffler. That's how the guy at the muffler shop did it for me.

I bought one of the cheap mufflers from autozone for $17, and a turndown pipe for $5 from Autozone. I had to use a dremel to cut the turndown pipe so it would fit into the muffler. It is louder than I would like it so I will probably end up putting the tailpipe back on. Not too bad for $20 though.
