Message: I have the chance to get a fairly new Paxton supercharger for a good price. I don't know too much about them only that I would like to have one on my truck! Any pro's and con's about Paxton? What type of maintenance is involved in owning one?
My truck is a `99 V6 RC 5-speed with 3.55, flowmaster, K&N intake.
Thanks for any advice and/or tips!

Message: i dont know much about paxton s/c's, but your gonna need a digital ignition amplifier, preferably with boost retard, colder plugs, and you should get a new pulley for that f*cker so puts out at least 8 psi, and a good set of stickey tires and trac bars.
bernd would help ya out on this one

Message: Which model?
Be careful if it's uses the Paxta-Map fueler as they are obsolete. We ran into a similar problem on a SN2000 installation on a '95 Ram (recently) and the fueler box went bad...only one place that may be able to repair it. (And it isn't Paxton.)
