I just bought Kenwood's KDC 319 with Sirius Satellite Radio for 129 for the Deck and 220 for the Satelitte Receiver. I bought it at Circuit City and installed it myself. Even though they say free install they charge out the @ss for butt connectors and electrical tape.

yeah go iwth pioneer. i had one in my van (yes i
pimped out a caravan) and i have one in my truck.
i have the DEH-7300. cost me $400 but its worth
it.

I've got a Pioneer DEH-P47DH that I really like. I think they still make them, it fit perfectly in my 2000 RC. So far it's been the nicest unit I've had in all my cars.

You can get the premiere 730 (2001 model) from a guy named scala1 on ebay (thats scala*number one*, not scala*letter L*) for about 245 shipped--great deck. I found the premiere 740MP for 275 shipped in about 4 of my normal audio supply sites, I'll have to get back to you on which ones tho cuz I got my list to search thru :(

They should sound a bit better, I wouldn't say a LOT better since they will be getting about 15 watts each from that (or any) deck, but it should at least be a somewhat noticeable thing.

I just finished reading an article on the cheapest way to upgrade your sound system (think it was last month's Street Trucks). They suggested upgrading the speakers first.
I just bought an Infinity CD off ebay for $150, and a set of Infinity speakers (not installed yet) last month for $50(new).
97 3.9 CC Sport. Black. Auto 3.55, Quick D Intake, JBA Stainless headers, Autolite 3923s, stainless Borla Turbo XL, V8 TB, FMS 19 lb fuel injectors, 17" Boyd Coddington Smoothies. Have, but not installed: JBA 9mm cables, Borla tip, IAT adjuster

Flamedak, read your manual, 50X4 is the peak rating--meaning, it outputs 50 watts VERY rarely. It probly claims about 22watts RMS right? That's what most claim, but the true output of them is almost always much much closer to 15 watts (not that there is much of a difference between 22 and 15).

I have a JVC SH-99 And I love it It sounds awsome 24 bit DAC Gold plated 4v outs it has a sub output and AUX it will control DVD or VCRS and to top it off It plays MP3 and CDR-W

i have the pioneer deh-p47dh i like it b/c it takes up the whole space......but i am thinking of getting rid of it for aone of those newer 3-d dot matrix display.....those are pretty nice espically at night but some of them are a bit pricey.....

i dont know anyone who has ever had a problem with thier kenwood decks had a fw freidns that didnt like thier pioneers though
