my fastest quarter is 18.1 but I was never too the floor, didn't want to break anything. At that point she was bone stock with the exception of a drop-in K&N. she had close to 110K on her too.

why are people arfraid to floor it. can u really ruin anything by flooring it. I floor mine every day. only problem with it is that is has kind of a rough idle

I have before. But mine can pull some funny shifts some times and I've been giving it some consistant throttle and my foot may just twitch and next thing I know I'm almost to the redline in 2nd gear doing like 40 mph.(just a guess) I know it may not break anything now, but if I get in the habit with a truck that now has 125+K miles on it, it isn't gonna see 150K and I need it to.
