Message: i have a 94 dakota w/ a 3.9l and a 5 speed in it. I need to know how i can tell if its a venture 3500 cause hurst makes a shifter for that trans and im not sure what i have thankx

until 2000.

Message: its an ax-15 ..hurst makes a shifter for it also...I have it ;) The nv3500 came behind the 318's and behind the 6's starting in 2000 I beleive

The Hurst Billet Plus shifter for the AX-15 is part number 391-5050. I bought mine through either Summit or Jegs (can't remember).
I just checked their web sites and jeg's has the same part number listed as only '98 and '99. Summit Racing doesn't even have any Dakota shifters listed. Call them up with the part number and see if they can get it.
If you go to www.mrgasket.com/maincat.html, click on the Hurst catalog (the picture) and then Manual Shifters, it's the first one listed. You need an Adobe reader though.
