Subject: will this affect the sound of my truck? IP: Logged
Message: hey guys, i have a v6 w/ flowmaster 40 series delta flow muffler but just with the stock tailpipe. now what i was thinkin, just to get a better look for my truck, was to just have 2 pipes come out of my muffler and out the back. the question i have though is will this make my truck sound any different, cause i like the sound now. thanks in advance.

Yes having two pipes coming out the back instead of one will change the tone of your exhaust.
If the only reason you're getting rid of the single outlet is for appearance take a hack saw or sawz-all and hack off the pipe just before the last elbow where it exits the rear fender. It will deepen the tone very little, but you won't have any "unsightly" rusted stock exhaust pipes showing.

Message: Im lookin at getting a flowmaster single in duel out. Does this affect backpressure at all? and would you go with 2.25 or 2.5 inch pipes?
Thanks

You will lose a little backpressure because of A) Flowmaster is a less restrictive muffler B)the dual outlets will decrease backpressure more than a single outlet.
If you go with 2.25" outlets you shouldn't lose that much backpressure. You might notice it a very little, but the gains in the mid range and upper end will be well worth it.
