ok 89 dak 4wd 3.9 tbi been running really rough then completely stalling. got to where it would run a few sec's then die wouldn't start until i disconnected the bat. cable. my dad has an 88 4wd so he came over we figured out if we put a test light from the + bat terminal to the - side of the coil it would run but not real smooth and also the test light flashed in rythm with the motor well anyway we found a dead plug wire replaced it w/ one from his truck noticed the test light stayed on so i unhooked it from the bat the truck kept running ?? will a bad plug wire make the computer shutdown?
