Message: I own a 1994 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9 V6
engine runs like a dream I just have a few
issues, one is every time I hit a small bump
or pothole while driving my steering wheel
likes to jerk into a random direction. I
have replaced the tie rods rack and pinion
and still have the issue I have also had it
aligned. Idk what to do at this point.
Another issue I have is replacing my exhaust
headers I have aftermarket exhaust headers
which seem to be impossible to find
especially ones that fit, I don't want to go
to stock exhaust manifolds because I like
the sound it produces where can I find some?

Message: 4x4? I’ve driven a ‘95 and ‘99 Ram 1500 and both bump steer
horribly. Steering box could be your issue…

Message: Also check the inside frame surface where the
steering box bolts on. I found on my 1992 a few
years ago that the inside surface had rotted, and
only 1 of 3 bolts was holding the steering box to
the frame. I found this when I had loose steering
suddenly, and I reached underhood, twisted the
steering shaft, and the steering box torqued into
the frame.
Had the frame welded, good to go.
