 Subject: Smokes after valve job

I just helped my son repair his 3.7 V6 in his 08
Dakota. He dropped a valve seat. No visible piston
or cylinder damage. Replaced all 6 intake seats,
complete valve job and surface. Well, it not smokes
badly, I've only seen this much smoke on blown head
gaskets where Coolant is burned off. Anyone else
seen this? I'm a big block guy, these are new to me.

Go back to machine shop and find out if they forgot to put new
valve seals on, that’s what it sounds like.
