Message: 02 dakota quad sport 4x4 with the lovely
3.9 v6 auto.
Issue is loss of acceleration up a slight
incline, not even a hill. Just a slight
incline. And forget a hill. If I mash it
into passing gear it will rev to 4k and
slowly speed up. Turning OD off does nothing
different. I am at a loss. No codes given.
So far I have replaced...
Plugs
Wires
Cap
Rotor
Tps
Map
Removed cat
Leaning towards fuel pump. Pressure at idle
is 44. Within range.
Plugged muffler maybe. Idk.
Thoughts or ideas would be great. Thanks.

Message: Catalytic converter if you have one might be
stopped up. Think you can put a pressure gauge
where the O2 sensor goes and if above a certain PSI
then CAT is stopped up..Look up "PSI stopped up
CAT" for any vehicle. BJ
