 Subject: 97 3.9 v6 dying when braking

Help? Truck is not throwing any codes or
lights. It is dying when braking. Idling
low rpms. Also dying at stop signs.
Hesitated once and back fired once.
Problem was come and go. Causes some
hesitation in shifting occasionally. Seems
to act up more when it's rainy. 210k
miles.
Map sensor maybe?

Years ago my 1992 3.9L V6 was doing the same thing.
Think it was the IAC on the rear of the throttle
body opening. BJ
