 Subject: Transmission dipstick tube

Hi all. I just recently replaced replaced my transmission in my
2003 Dakota 3.9 ltr with the transmission out of a 8 cylinder
Durango. Now my original dipstick tube does not fit. It is either
too long or too short for the bolts on the back of the block. Has
anyone had this problem before and if so did you fix it by
bending the tube. Also wondering if I should expect other
problems once I get everything together and rolling. Thanks for
any input you have.
