2000 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 3.9L V6.

Code P1391. Also getting code P1492 for the
battery temperature sensor, which is on order.

Replaced the following in this order over the
last 2 weeks.

Crankshaft Position Sensor with OEM Mopar part.
Camshaft Position Sensor. There is no CMP OEM
part available, discontinued, so aftermarket
BWD.
Idle Air Control sensor, aftermarket BWD.
Throttle Position Sensor, aftermarket BWD.
the Timing Chain, Tensioner and Gears,
excessive timing chain slack and there was no
tensioner.
ABS Speed Sensor, aftermarket BWD. The ABS &
Brake dash lights are still on, but will go off
and stay off about 10% of the time.
MAP sensor, aftermarket BWD.

It starts 70% of the time with no issues. The
other 30% is sputters and backfires and takes 3
or 4 attempts to get it started. Once it is
started it seems to run ok, but can hear a
slight miss every now and again. When you rev
it up to 3000 and release the throttle it will
sometimes sputter and stall and other times it
won't. Sometimes with the truck on, both
started and idling or just the key in the on
position and not started, the speedometer will
jump around between 10-30 mph.

The only thing I see I have left is to replace
the PCM.

I'm very frustrated with this, can anyone help
point me to something I should do next?
