Subject: Rear Brake lines IP: Logged
Message: Found a rubber brake line hanging down the other day and have no idea where it goes to. It's attached to the top of the rear diff. But nothing is in reach of it. An exploded view would be helpful. Thanks, Guzziwinger

Message: It's not a brake line. It's a vent hose for the
differential. It has a one-way valve at the end
of it that must not get clogged. Its purpose is
to vent any pressure buildup from the axle getting
warm on long trips. If clogged or stuck, pressure
can build and force axle fluid out the gaskets or
fill plug.
