Subject: Needing help IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota 4x4 V6 truck and it will not start. I
changed the fuel filter, spark plugs and wires. It ran then and I
drove it that day, then the next day it rained and since then it
turns over but won't start. What could be going on?

Message: You need a few things for an engine to run. Compression/air,
fuel, spark. You just have to determine which one you dont
have. The fact that it ran when dry and didnt after it rained
would lead me to think spark problem. Maybe a cap/rotor or
coil problem with water. Can you place a tester on it and turn
the engine over to see if your getting spark when cranking?
