 Subject: Misfire and Start up issues

98 3.9 dakota sport throwing random misfire
codes 300, 301, 303, 305 also the below
threshold code 420. I have tried replacing just
about everything on it. coil, spark plugs, cap
and rotor, crank sensor, camshaft, tps,
pcm/ecm. The pcm replacement worked great for a
few weeks then the misfires came back. Also,
starting the truck usually can be a problem, it
likes to shut off as soon as I take my foot off
the gas. But if I just take off and don't stop
and let the engine get going, it won't shut off
on me. I don't think it is the cat due to
that... wouldn't the problem get worse as I
drove rather than better? The misfires usually
stick around for the entire time that I drive.
