Subject: Modifications to exhaust and intake. IP: Logged
Message: I have a 95 3.9 several yrs ago I purchased some used exhaust manifolds that had the larger outlet. I am not sure what yr they are. I also purchased a used larger throttle body. I have rebuilt the motor it had a little over 260,000 miles on it and was so weak it would hardly pull an empty low boy trailer much less one loaded. Anyway I am trying to make some minor mods to the motor. I hear Ford injectors will interchange but not sure which ones. I found a piece of 1/4 inch aluminum plate and made the plate for the bottom of the intake to try and stop the gasket from leaking. Way back yonder when I was thinking and acquiring the parts for the mods I had read on one of these forums to cut back the runners in the intake. I said all this because I do not know what yr of y pipe to try and locate for the new/used manifolds or how much to trim off the intake runners inside the intake manifold and what yr Ford injectors to use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

orange and black are the #19
Auto Zone does not list a o-ring kit for the
V6 but you can get a set for the 5.0 mustang
perfict fit
Always use a little oil on the rings
Bosch also has a lime green #19 with a 6 hole
spray pattern, I have alawys wanted to try these
but never got around to doing it posably even
more power and gas mileage
The FMS 4 hole work great in the dodge motors
smother running more power and better gas mileage
They give you better atomization

Message: The exhaust manifolds are most likely from a 92 or
93.
