Message: our 1997 Dakota quit running while on the highway under minimal load. engine started knocking and was shut down. I thought the timing chain had jumped. after checking the chain I have found the crank and cam in time but the distributor is 120 degrees out of time? drive gear worn enough to jump? any ideas?
