 Subject: clicking noise when i hit the brakes

The ABS light and the brake light came on today so I was a little concerned because most my driving on the interstate. After I stopped driving both lights went off but came back on and now there is a clicking sound coming from somewhere in front of the drivers potion. Just wonder what it might be .
