 Subject: outer tie rod end torque

95 dodge Dakota sport.
Torque specs for tie rod end castle nut? I replaced rack and
pinion and tie rod ends. If I tighten the castle nut to what I think
is tight, the cotter pin will not sit in a notch of the castle nut. Is
that an issue??

Cotter pin shouldn't sit on the castle nut. Idk bout the torque on
the nuts. Get a manual. Maybe someone on here can post it...
