I have a 2001 Dakota, V6. In 2013 at the beach the T on upper
radiator hose broke off, bought clamp and fixed issue, had add
antifreeze every so often. Then Tuesday going across town
temp got above normal, got to where I was going and popped
hood and T broke off enough to where couldn't go further, so I
rigged it to get myself home. On way home and red light truck
turned off (never happened before) pulled on side and added
more water and got home. In the week I have replaced the T
and upper hose but still runs warm (isn't in red) j took
thermostat out and drove down road and back, didn't get AS
hot as fast but still above normal...any ideas or suggestions?

Have you ever thought of servicing the cooling system? Are
both fans working as they should? The system relies on
building pressure to keep from overheating so if you have a
leak it will continue to overheat.
