Message: SO I HAVE THIS 99 DAKOTA SPORT CLUB CAB 4X4 AND I HAVE REPLACED THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL BEARING AND AS OF TODAY THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL BEARING.IS THIS A COMMON PROBLEM BECAUSE IF IT IS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT IT? ITS AGREAT TRUCK BUT I DONT THINK I WANT TO CHANGE A WHEEL BEARING EVERY YEAR! THANKS FOR ANY INSIGHT!
Message: Kevin...how did you know the wheel bearing was going out?
I bought my truck back in January and a week later was replacing ball joints on it. Well, I ended up replacing the tie rods, ball joints and most of the other stearing componants as well. Now, when I am driving at 75 or faster, the truck starts to shake. Bring it back to 70 and she quits....
I was wondering if it wasn't the wheel bearings....
