To get any real/noticeable performance will take a good bit of
money. Before you spend any make sure you have a goal for
the performance you want. Best bang for the buck would
probably be changing the gear ratio. Higher numerically gear
set installed would probably run around 400 to 600 bucks.

I did intake,headers,Y-pipe,complete exhaust,tuner chip, and electric fan on my 98 6-popper and noticed...nothing. The Almighty, otherwise known as Daddio is right (again)...gears!other than that, save your money for a V-8 if you want power.
