I have a 96 dodge Dakota 3.9l 4 wheel drive
My truck starts up but then the rpms go down and it dies...
It normally happens in the cold when I drive it less than 5
miles.
The only way I can drive is by revving it up and quickly shifting
into the gear and going! It only stays running if I get to about
15 mph and then it runs fine
Any ideas????

I have the same problem with my 2000 dodge dakota. If I sit
and hold the RPMs up on it for about 10 minutes. Then it will
stay running. I have not been able to figure out what the
problem is.
