I have a 05dodge Dakota. I just changed cv propeller joint.
Both before and after the change it will grind when it try's to
shift into 4x4. But now the truck won't shift into overdrive and
the engine light is on

Take it to the dealer and have it fixed. I would take about $1,500.00 with you.
