Subject: 98 3.9 stalling IP: Logged
Message: have read several post for different years. Truck started stalling and losing power then stalling around 100 miles ago. No check engine light. Shop says had a crank sensor code stored. Replace same. Didn't even get out the parking lot before it stalled. Shop is trying to get it to do it again and it won't. I dont trust it. Does this year have the infamous line splice or not. Any input would be appreciated

Message: Take off your throttle body and clean it, put back on with new gasket. Clean your idle control located at the back of the throttle body.
No splice problem with this year.
