Message: I stopped at the store on my way home from church the other day and after I came back out, my truck wouldn't start. It did crank, it just wouldn't turn over. After a handful of tries and a few calls to towing companies, it started and ran fine all the way home. I drove it again on New Year's eve and while driving down the road, it felt like the engine shut itself off and then started right back up. It only did that once. I thought the coil could be going bad but after reading a few posts on here about crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, I realized it could be one of those. Other than those 2 instances, there are no drivablity issues or poor gas mileage. Is there anyway to test the coil and sensors so I'm not throwing money at parts I don't need?

Message: You could just check for any stored codes before you just start throwing parts/money at it.

Message: About 8 months ago. A friend of mine suggested fuel line freeze up but I've ruled that out. I put fuel antifreeze in my gas earlier this week. I drove my truck to the store about 10 minutes from my house yesterday. I was in the store for about 30 minutes. I came back out and it wouldn't start. After trying several times for about 15 minutes, it finally started.
