My Dakota always starts immediately until recently. Now it

Sounds like either the check valbve on the fule puimp assy is leaking or the injectors are leaking. If it's been runnning fine, I would say it's the check valve. Try turning the key to "on" a couple of times for a few seconds each time then tunr it to start. If it starts right up it's probably the chek valve. Either change the fuel pump assy or live with it. Personally, I'd live with it.

Mine was doing that cuz it needed a tune up. Cap &
rotor, plugs and wires cleared it right up
