Message: 3.9 v6 ran fine when I parked it. Went out to start it and all it
did was crank. Tried some starter fluid to see if it would fire at
all and still nothing. Had the computer read and said I had
four different cylinder miss fires. I replaced all six spark plugs,
coil, distributer cap, and the piece inside the cap and still
have nothing. Any suggestions?

Message: #1 - Check codes again.
#2 - If you want to throw parts and money at it, try the CPS first.
#3 - Depending on the year, you can check codes yourself just by turning the key a couple of times.
A little more info about the truck would make this a little easier.

Message: My 98, 3.9 did the same thing last week and I figured it was the fuel pump, changed it and it worked.Maybe the read on the misfires was due to the starting fluid...Just an idea, maybe loosen the fuel line and see if its getting fuel?
