 Subject: 1991 4 banger Engine Swap

Hello I have a 1991 Dakota with a 4cyl/5speed and want to know if anyone can tell me how hard it would be to swap in a v8 or v6. I could not find any threads on anyone swapping a v4 for a v6 or v8.If anyone has any info on problems I may run into please let me know. I know I can get mounts from engine-swap.com but any technical details would be appreciated if someone knows.
Also would a v6 or v8 from a 91'-97' dak swap right in using the mounts from the v6/v8 or would I need the cross member?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dahyden Would need engine and trans swap,
Going to carb would be a bit easier otherwise.
Then Wire harness work, pcm.
Now exhaust, Engine mounts ..
Coil springs and possibly the crossmember.
