Subject: How long do radiators last? IP: Logged
Message: All: I have a 2002 V6 DAK with 110K miles. Lately I've been low on coolant in the over flow and noticed some coolant on the inside of the bottom shroud. Very small leakage. I changed the water pump 20K miles ago with a new Dodge pump, hoses and thermostat. I'm thinking radiator but was wondering if 110K and 10years is the approx life of a Rad? Appreciate your thoughts. Thx AJ

Message: If maintained properly, it should last as long as you own the truck.

Message: Depends. Some of my cars, 10 years due to road salt eating the aluminum fins. My Dakota's radiator lasted 15 years and 164K miles.
