94 3.9 2wd auto: dash and park lights just quit . Not switch , fuses or bulbs ,what is the problem you gues ? Any and all help appreciated

Don't beg! Check the wires under your fuse box that is located under the hood.

Thank you . I have been out of town and that is when it happened . I just got back and tried 2 more switches to no avail, I can pull it out slowly until the head lights are about to come on and they work , but as soon as the headlights come on they go off. I have 4 of these trucks and they have all had light problems. I will do as you said tomarrow. I am switching motors from one to another for the first time. I went back to a 2003 post and got some advice you gave on the flex-plate but don't understand it yet. Also how do you tell a mag motor from reg. 3.9 both are 92's the good mtr. is 5spd 4wd and the trk I'm pttng it in is 2wd auto . Any advice greatly appreciated. I love these trucks !!! ???
