My 1999 3.9l is running rough at idle all the way up to 2500
rpm. When ever I accelerate it makes popping sounds in the
exhaust like it's running lean. I checked fuel pressure.
Running 45 psi at idle. The spark on a timing light for cylinder
4 was showing up very intermittently. I took the wire off and
checked spark at the cap and that showed the same time gap
in spark which was very delayed and weak. Shortly after
maybe a week later still while trying to diagnose the problem I
did another check with the timing light and now cylinder 1,3,
and 6 are showing very quick sparking compared to the other
cylinders. I'm lost as what could be causing this. No check
engine light either....

Your air filter is dirty. That will cause your spark plugs to not fire right.
