Changed the waterpump on my '00 QC about 3 months ago. The other day I noticed it started leaking. Bought new because I did not want to have to replace it again. Anyway installed replacement pump, buttoned up everything and it was idling while I was topping off the coolant. Turned the A/C on to cool off a little then bang!
A hellacous noise from under the hood and I saw coolant leaking out! Shut it down, looked around and found that one of the plastic electric fan blades let loose and it sliced the radiator! So another 2 hours and $250.00 bucks it's done hope it last for at least another 145k miles now.
