Message: There is a splice that needs to be checked. It's about 4-6 inches below the underhood fusebox. 3 wires into one. They are Red or Red/white. Peel back the wire loom and tape, find that splice and redo it. Preferablty soldering it. It is a common issue on the older trucks such as the one you're working on. If you have a wiring diagram, I believe it's called "Splice #115". That splice provides power for the coil,PCM, fuel pump and ASD I believe.
