Subject: transmission no reverse

Have '93 3.9 auto 2 wheel drive with no reverse, but i have foward gears even in neutral. put it in reverse nothing. put it in park and it dies acts like it still trying to go foward, any help would be great, thanks

have you had the trans fluid flushed recently? there could be a clog in the valve body causeing to pressure for reverse. Besides that new seals on the valve body may also help. Im betting on a clog it happens when trans fluid gets too hot or breaks down and leaves deposits in the valve body.

I have a 5spd but have had some experience with autos. I prefer manual but every one has there own oppinions

no prob i wish i could get 3.92 gears for mine so i can have 32 inch tires and still be on my power band when driving.
I got a 93 3.9 st cab long bed 5spd 4x4 i picked up for $100 i love these daks!!!
